Here we go again, another New Year. I feel nostalgic saying good-bye to one but excited saying hello to another.
2011 was a fantastic year. In short, I had the honor of watching my oldest son graduate from High School and Army Basic Training. My youngest entered High School. I traveled, enjoyed my family and friends and I had fun with my passions and hobbies. It was also another year where I got to know myself better by advancing on my path of enlightenment.
What was I thankful for in 2011?
My health, because no matter what I was experiencing, it could always have been worse.
My husband, who provided for our family and made it possible for me to pick and chose if I wanted to work or not and be there for my kids when I was needed, plus it gave me time to pursue my passions.
My sons, who sometimes drove me crazy with worry, but brought me more joy than I could ever express.
My family and friends, in real life and the blogosphere.
My home.
My continued journey to personal enlightenment.
I believe 2012 will be another year in which I will grow and learn, live and love, and for that I’m looking forward to this new, unknown year, just waiting to be lived!
So, thank you 2011 for the great memories and experiences, and welcome 2012!
